Section 1
About Suvarna Law
Suvarna Law is a legal practice established in Bangkok, Thailand, with its principal office at 196 Rama IV Road, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110. We provide advisory and representation services in connection with pension entitlements, records, and disputes. By contacting us, instructing us, or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Section 2
Scope of Services
We offer three service tiers for pension-related matters:
- Pension Record Review (฿4,700) — A structured review of your pension documents to confirm completeness and accuracy, with a written note of findings and one follow-up meeting.
- Pension Correction Support (฿9,900) — Preparation, submission, and correspondence management for corrections to pension records. Typically completed over one to two months.
- Full Pension Representation (฿17,300) — Complete handling of a complex pension dispute through all stages, with regular updates and a closing report.
The precise scope for each engagement is confirmed in writing at the outset. Services beyond the agreed scope will be subject to a separate instruction.
Section 3
Engaging Our Services
An engagement begins when both parties have agreed in writing to the service scope and fees, typically following an initial consultation. Until that agreement is confirmed, no legal relationship is formed and no obligation is incurred by either party.
We may decline to accept an instruction at our discretion, including where there is a potential conflict of interest or where the matter falls outside our areas of practice. If we are unable to assist, we will tell you promptly.
Section 4
Fees and Payment
Our fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all routine disbursements unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are set out in the engagement agreement. For most services, payment is due upon instruction; for longer matters, staged payment arrangements may apply.
If additional work becomes necessary beyond the original scope — for example, due to complications arising during a correction or dispute — we will notify you before proceeding and obtain your agreement to any additional fee.
All fees quoted on our website are for guidance. The final fee for your matter will be confirmed in your engagement letter.
Section 5
Client Obligations
To allow us to assist you properly, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information when requested
- Notify us promptly of any changes to your circumstances that may affect the matter
- Respond to our requests for instructions or documents within a reasonable time
- Pay agreed fees in accordance with the payment terms in your engagement letter
Delays arising from a client's failure to meet these obligations may affect the progress and outcome of a matter. We are not responsible for such delays.
Section 6
Confidentiality
We treat all information you share with us as confidential. We will not disclose your personal or case information to any third party without your consent, except as required by law or by applicable professional rules.
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms by reference.
Section 7
Limitation of Liability
We will carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. However, pension matters involve decisions made by government bodies, employers, and other third parties that are outside our control. We are not able to predict or be responsible for the decisions of such bodies.
Our liability to you for any loss arising from our advice or services is limited to the fee paid for the specific matter in which the loss occurred, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
We do not accept responsibility for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, or for losses caused by information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete.
Section 8
Intellectual Property
Written advice, reports, and documents prepared by us for your matter remain our intellectual property until all fees for that matter have been paid in full. Once payment is complete, those documents are provided for your personal use in connection with the matter for which they were prepared.
Content on this website — including all text, layout, and branding — is the property of Suvarna Law and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Section 9
Termination
Either party may end an engagement by giving reasonable written notice. If you end the engagement, fees are payable for all work completed to the date of termination. If we end the engagement for good reason — for example, if instructions become impossible to follow or a conflict of interest arises — we will give you adequate notice and return any documents you have provided.
We may immediately suspend or end an engagement if we become aware that information provided to us was materially misleading.
Section 10
Governing Law
These terms and any engagement between us are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
Section 11
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you instruct us governs that engagement. We will post the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date. For ongoing matters, we will notify you of any material changes directly.
Section 12
